Rainy Monday

Well, I just recently logged onto my blog and noticed that I haven't posted since Jan. 25th. I think I should be forgiven though because I posted 2 days in a row last time and had a super cute video! Ha!

Ty is really growing fast! Travis and I think that he is currently cutting a tooth because he cried for 20 minutes on Sat. evening. I know that is not very long compared to some babies or toddlers but for Ty that is super long! He never cries so when he does, something is wrong. He was even crying while I held him. He had a low fever so we gave him some Tylenol to try and ease whatever was bothering him since he can't tell us! He was pulling on both of his ears throughout the day so we figured either teeth or ears. After we gave him a couple teething tablets he fell asleep with me in our bed. Ty and I slept from about 6-10pm! We were both starving when we got up! We ate supper and then he went back to bed at 11:30 and slept all night. So, that was good.

Then Sunday morning he had a low fever. He did fine at church. I ended up taking him to the nursery because he just wanted to play and walk around. He did okay there she said but cried off and on. When I got there - he cried as soon as he saw me and then just laid in my lap. He was so sleepy! He usually takes a nap at about 11 so it was almost noon and he was fighting it since I wasn't there. He fell asleep on the way home and then woke up when we got home. He was fussy again in the afternoon so we gave him more teeth tablets and then he and I took a nap from 3:30-6:30. I could really get used to that! A 3 hour nap everyday would be fabulous! He ate supper when he got up and then played. He was fighting going to bed - he would just walk around (or I should say stagger) the living room picking up toys and falling down. He didn't want to be held or anything. He finally laid down in the middle of the floor and went to sleep at about 10:30. It was really cute!

So, I hope it's just his teeth giving him trouble and not an ear infection. If it keeps up for another day or 2 and he doesn't have a tooth emerge, we're going to the Dr. I don't want him to suffer if there's something more that can be done!
