Wow! I cannot believe 2008 will be over in about an hour! What a year it has been! I made a New Years' Resolution to start a blog for family and friends. I have been inspired by a few others to do this - thanks Bonnie & Jennifer. I hope this helps keep everyone up to date, as well as a little record for myself to keep track of all the happenings with a very busy 10 month old!
As I reflect on the past year, I can't help but feel so ---- blessed! We had our most wonderful blessing this past year on Leap Day! Yes, that's right - Ty Louis Carr was born on February 29, 2008 at 12:54pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 21 in. long. He was and still is the most beautiful, perfect baby boy ever! Of course, I'm not bias or anything!
We have had an awesome last 10 months! Ty is simply amazing! Travis and I are always wondering what new "thing" he'll do each day. Right now he is starting to take 2-3 steps on his own. He gets so excited that he tries to jump and falls down. He wants to walk so badly but just hasn't quite mastered it yet! I imagine that within a week or two he'll be going to town!
Well, I think I will start taking the ornaments off the tree since my little sidekick is in bed. He has taken a few off already for me=) I will write more soon!
